H.W. Longfellow said that "Music is the universal language of mankind.", so we hope that everyone, regardless of their culture or ethnicity will hear our cry for Peace. Honestly, life is so short and full of problems, challenges and tragedies, that we naively think that people could at least stop killing, hurting, offending each other. Why to wait for aliens, Apocalypses, epidemics, old age or natural disasters to show us that actually we prefer to live, to live in peace and to look for Happiness and not Fighting. May be it looks good in movies, but what about hospitals or broken hearts?
H.C.Andersen said that “Where words fail, music speaks.”, but for those who still listen to the words we want to beg: we have lost our loved ones. Don't go to that hell! Let's live and let live! Let's be and be different! As long as the others don't harm you directly, why not let them be as they are, annoying, stupid and pathetic? We R having wars our whole history, is there are less evil or wrong people? So let's try another option: peace, let's learn how to resolve conflicts and disagreements in a peaceful way. Of course, before that we need to find another jobs for our millions of soldiers, how about paintball sport or something?
F.Delius said that "Music is an outburst of the soul." When we wrote this music, we imagined as many doves as possible, flying in every direction, bringing peace to every place and person that needs it. At least metaphorically.
We don't believe that peace is sort of unreal utopia, just look who we were in a past, and who we became, few more steps and we actually will start to respect human beings and not just talk about it. If peace is unrealistic, then why so many leaders, teachers, saints, wise and simply smart people were convinced that it's the only way and one day it will become true...How about tomorrow? Or at least next year? If we listen to them, if we follow them, if we agree, then...there's no choice but to feel compassion and love, if we all brothers, then....yes, sometimes brothers kill each other, but they kill a brother and not an evil monster, inferior, primitive alien.
Lets count the years we thought how to get money, power, pleasures and seconds we felt that we should live somehow differently. In more friendly, tolerant, nice way, to see human beings and not employees, savages, idiots, gangsters, etc. We are not saying there are no gangsters or bad people, but we know that through love and compassion each gangster can be at least nice guy.At least let's try!
