Dr. Walter Martin 's Doctrine Of The Trinity Is NOT Orthodox The Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed, 381 AD excerpt: "We believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible; and in one LORD, JESUS CHRIST, the only begotten SON OF GOD, BEGOTTEN FROM THE FATHER BEFORE ALL AGES, Light from Light, true God from true God, BEGOTTEN [γεννηθέντα] NOT MADE, of one substance with the Father, through Whom all things came into existence ..."
Since in God there can be no change, it means that God must've ALWAYS been Father, Son and Holy Spirit, or else, if God would've become Father and Son at some point in time, or at the Incarnation, as Dr. Walter Martin claimed, it would mean that a certain change would've occurred in God. This means that, even though he confessed that God exists in three eternal Persons, since he rejected the teaching that Lord Jesus was always "the Son of God" begotten before all ages, but called Him only as "the Word of God" before Incarnation the event in time when He would\'ve become the Son, Dr. Martin actually held to a different doctrine about the Holy Trinity than the orthodox traditional Christianity always did. No Holy Father of the Church has ever taught the "incarnational sonship of Christ" or denied His eternal one, but, besides Walter Martin, only some late Protestant theologians did so, like Ralph Wardlaw, Adam Clarke, Albert Barnes, Finis J. Dake and John MacArthur.
Biblical basis for the doctrine of the eternal sonship of Christ:
Psalms 2: 7, Malachi 3: 6, Galatians 4: 4-6, Colossians 1: 13-16, 1 John 4: 14

Original and Translation variant A.
Translation variant B.
We believe in one God, Father almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten from the Father before all ages, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten not made, consubstantial with the Father, through Him all things were made.
For our sake and for our salvation He came down from heaven, and was incarnate from the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became man.
He was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried;
He rose again on the third day, in accordance with the Scriptures,
and ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He is coming again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end.
And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who together with Father and Son is worshipped and together glorified; Who spoke through the Prophets.
In one Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.
We confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We await the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the age to come. Amen.
Translation variant C.
We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible;
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Only-begotten, Begotten of the Father before all ages, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, Begotten, not made; of one essence with the Father, by whom all things were made;
Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven, and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and was made man;
And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried;
And the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures;
And ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father;
And He shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead, Whose kingdom shall have no end.
And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, and Giver of Life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified, Who spoke by the Prophets;
And we believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins.
We look for the Resurrection of the dead,
And the Life of the age to come. Amen.
