One of the most famous universities in Ukraine is Uzhgorod National University. Besides many other fuculties one of the most popular and famous here is Fuculty of Medicine. It take students from all over the world and gives a high Eurepean level of education.

80% of lecturers in Uzhgorod National University graduated famous international eurepean univercities and have a lot of experience to share. The other interesting and importent thing for students of this univercity is that summer practice students held in Europe. Only students from Uzhgorod has this opportunity.

Uzhgorod National University gives all the necessary conditions to get knowledge and for studuing. Besides equipped classrooms there is a great library at the University where student can get interesting information and read many research papers in order to write their own essays and dissertations.

Uzhgorod National University is not a large university, and all the courses are separated in small groups, which allows to pay more attention to each student and their knowledge.

Uzhgorod is a hospitable town with its own great history and many places which worth to be seen. For example, Uzhhorod Castle in its present form was built in the 15th—16th centuries against the Turks. The palace in the centre of the city houses the Transcarpathian Museum of Local Lore. It has exhibitions on archaeology, the folk art and dress of the region.The Museum shows great difference between the different ethnic groups. Next to the Castle is the Transcarpathian Museum of Popular Architecture and Life. Here you can see old wooden buildings, furniture, costumes,crafts...
