Amnesia White Night - Man In the Street
Oliver Nelson - The Hand of Borgus Weems 1971 Music clips culled from the season 2 segment of "Rod Serling's Night Gallery" entitled "The Hand of Borgus Weems" in which young business man Peter Lacland actor George Maharis is driving down the street of a big city when his hand is suddenly possessed by the avenging spirit of occultist Borgus Weems and forces him to charge straight at a lawyer named Everett Winterreich actor Robert Hoy. Then, at 00:57, Peter Lacland deliberately crushes his hand with a bust in the office of Doctor Ravdon actor Ray Milland. And, at 01:16, owing to his possessed hand, Peter Lacland rings the wrong apartment and walks along the hallway to meet Susan Douglas. Finally, at 01:40, Peter Lacland tells the past event of the failed car homicide.
"Exoriare aliquis nostris ex ossibus ultor."

—Virgil in "Aeneid", Book IV, 625.
Composer Oliver Nelson writes his own archetype of electro-horror score and uses, for the first time, an analogue synthesizer to suggest the supernatural combined with his usual warm arrangements dominated by a violin and supported by percussions and a bass guitar. The way he exploits electronic is too literal and anachronistic and is reminiscent of a 1950's use of theremin. This electronic motif alone will become the basis of all mad scientists and space-oriented scores of "The Six Million Dollar Man"—one small bass guitar phrase is reworked in the season 2 "The Pioneers". - Jason Gervais Amnesia White Night - Man In the Street
