Today we live in frenzied and constant motion. We run in every direction under a legitimate stress, because our watches do not give us enough time… only 12 hour days ! It’s about time that at the dawning of the third millenium , GUSTAVE & cie reinvent the watch, upsetting the traditional codes and revisiting the 24 hour dial used by the military and astronauts.
The unique design of the three dials is signed by the creators of the brand GUSTAVE & cie. A new vision of time imposes a new style, clear and timeless. Black, white, and blue are the 3 color choices of the dial. Each color is associated with a unique graphic design. The metal case, water resistant up to 30 ATM, has a matte black finish, combining elegance and discrection in order to highlight the design of the dial.
French manufacturing is the leitmotif of the designers of the brand GUSTAVE & cie…Know-how, quality, proximity, and reactivity are the essential assets and indispensable criteria for choosing collaborators for the brand. The design of the dials, the choices of materials, colors, and mechanics, are made in Dijon. The cases are entirely assembled in France, in Besançon. A swiss company provides the mechanics. As for the final assembly of the case and the bands, it is handled by GUSTAVE & cie, as well as quality control. The brand remains faithful to its french supplier for the final touch : the packaging.
It was in Babylon, two thousand years before Christ that the gnomon was born, the ancestor of the sundial that the Egyptians perfected 500 years later. During the following four thousand years, Man never ceased to evolve the techniques and instruments for measuring the passage of time. Such a long way since weighing clocks and spring watches…

Aujourd’hui, nous vivons dans la frénésie et le mouvement permanent. Nous courons, nous trottons en tous sens dans un stress légitime, puisque nos montres nous proposent de trop courtes journées de douze heures… Il était temps qu’à l’aube du troisième millénaire, GUSTAVE & cie réinvente la montre, en bouleversant les codes et en revisitant le cadran sur 24 Heures utilisé par les militaires et les astronautes.
Le design unique des trois cadrans est signés par les créateurs de la marque GUSTAVE & cie. Une nouvelle vision du temps impose un nouveau style, clair et intemporel. Noir, blanc et bleu, vous pourrez choisir parmi ces 3 couleurs de cadran. A chaque couleur est associé un design unique et graphique. Le boîtier en métal, étanche 30m, est habillé d'une finition noir mat, alliant classe et discrétion pour laisser s'exprimer le design du cadran.
La fabrication française est le leitmotive des concepteurs de la marque GUSTAVE & cie... Savoir-faire, qualité, proximité et réactivité sont des atouts et des critères de choix indispensables pour collaborer avec la marque. Le design des cadrans, le choix des matériaux, des couleurs, du mécanisme, sont réalisés à Dijon. Les boîtiers sont entièrement assemblés en France, à Besançon. Une société suisse fournit le mécanisme. Quant à l'assemblage final, boîtier/bracelet, il est assuré par GUSTAVE & cie en même temps que le contrôle qualité. La marque reste fidèle à son fournisseur français pour la touche finale : le packaging.

Pendant les quatre mille ans suivants, l’Homme n’a jamais cessé de faire évoluer les techniques et les instruments qui lui permettaient de mesurer la fuite en avant du temps. Que de chemin parcouru depuis les horloges à poids et les montres à ressort...
