Welcome to my Country Guitar lesson -- 5 styles series -- Alex Feather Akimov
This one will be totally different from everything I have done so far.
This lesson includes 5 most popular guitar styles: Country, Rock, Blues, Fusion and Jazz.

By learning this lesson you will work on:
Legato, Tapping, Alternative Picking, Pull off's -- Hammer on's -- Open stings, Sweeping , Bending , Dynamics and much much more!

This is the country part
It will help you understand how to combine major and minor pentatonics and develop alternative picking.
The first solo starts in G major pentatonic low octave, I've used a lot of open strings to get country sound.
Towards the end I am switching to a high octave of E minor pentatonic in first position.
It's not an easy solo to play, but if you will spend time working on it at a slow tempo you will master it in no time!
The idea of this lesson is to help you understand how different styles of music work, and even if country is not your main style, you will develop as a guitar player.


The chord progression : G - C- G - D

The solo is based on G major pentatonic
