A l'origine, ce carnaval était un rassemblement de toutes les communautés basées à Londres ayant pour point commun d'être issues des colonies britanniques. Durant le dernier et très festif week-end d'août, toutes ces communautés se donnaient rendez-vous dans le quartier sud ouest de Notting Hill Gate, sorte de Montmartre Londonien...
Aujourd'hui, tous les rythmes dansants de la planète s'y retrouvent Soca, Dub, Dance Hall, Ragga, Reggae, Hip hop, 2step, Steel Band, House, etc ainsi que 2 millions de visiteurs !

Originally, this Carnival was a gathering of all based in London have in common to be from the British colonies communities.
During the last and very festive weekend of August, all these communities gave appointment in the southwest district of Notting Hill Gate, sort of Montmartre Londoner ...
